OVERVIEW

A start-up company in a major growth phase, Tuition Specialists strives to make higher education more affordable for students and their families. We are looking for someone interested in business and specifically entrepreneurship with an outgoing personality and a well-connected network on-campus. Specifically, the Campus Coordinator will be trained to become the face of the organization on campus, and is responsible for running a recruitment campaign to find and recruit out-of-state students within different campus organizations to take advantage of our services.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Personal desire to be involved in recruitment, public relations, communications, or marketing as a potential long-term career path.
  • An individual with a large social and/or academic network on campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 5-7 hours per week.
  • Three new clients signed who were referred by you or directly as a result of your partnerships by the end of the semester, and generating at least 12 applications from your university.
  • Developing strategic partnerships and relationships with organizations on campus to promote the organization.
  • Working with broader TS team to execute recruitment strategy nationwide.
  • Attend weekly calls with our Managing Specialist of Recruitment and fellow Campus Coordinators from around the country.

Tuition Specialist, Colorado


Location: Colorado, with easy access to Boulder

Overview

Specialists are the most pivotal and critical role in the organization. They are the face of the organization to parents, clients and our communities, and through their interactions the company’s vision is created or lost. First and foremost, Specialists are responsible for developing strong, long-term relationships with families. Second, they are responsible for supporting, coaching, and directing students throughout the complexities of the in-state process. Finally, they are the technical experts around everything related to making college more affordable to their case load of clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Relationships

    • Form and strengthen relationships with clients and families in the long-term
    • Communicate effectively with a diverse constituency in written and verbal forms
    • Provide unparalleled customer service to clients and their families
  • Management

    • Set clear expectations with clients and their families about their role and your role in the in-state residency process
    • Consult and support clients and their families according to their needs and situation
    • Closely manage timelines and adjust course accordingly when changes occur
    • Monitor progress of each client closely and ensure that every client in your caseload is moving through the process in a streamlined, simple, and effective manner
  • Technical Expert

    • Continue to learn and expand your repertoire and strategies for navigating the process
    • Answer any and all questions related to tuition, housing, employment, taxes, banking, and scholarships that are within the bounds of your knowledge
    • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills
    • Spend 10% of your time innovating in the area of your choice
