Our Culture
We are dedicated to a sustainable corporate culture of linked prosperity. Through practices in support of people, profits, and principles we are working towards a better tomorrow. Unfortunately, in today's corporate world many companies believe that pursuing profits is their only means of success. Nothing could be further from the truth. By focusing solely on profits a company ignores long-term growth opportunities and may even diminish its short-term potential. Look at any industry and you will find the leading companies are those committed to the following ideals. Our Core Values
- Personal
We are committed to having a personal touch and connection in all our interactions, especially with the students we work with. - Affordable
An education is a great thing, but not if it burdens with you insurmountable debt and hardship. As such, we strive to make our services are affordable. - Accessible
A quality higher education has remarkable impacts over the course of one's life. These benefits should not be restricted to a select few. We aim to increase accessibility to anyone willing to put in the work and effort to pursue a higher degree.
The Ideals
- Self-Sustainability
Making a profit is important, but doing so at a sustainable rate and at the right time is more critical. Instead of utilizing all the resources we have to grow as quickly as possible, we will instead devote our time to discovering what rate of growth will allow us to live not into 2010, but into 2100. - Community Focus
Relationships are a company’s most valuable asset. Vendors, clients, fans, friends, and ever our competition are all resources for helping us grow into the future. Being active members of the local communities we are a part of is critically important to us. That’s why we encourage our employees to join local boards and start programs for their communities and why our long-term goal is to focus on social change through the arts and education in the communities we serve. - Ethics
Defining our company ethics is critical to the type of people we attract, both as employees and as clients. This is especially important and useful in an industry such as ours when it is possible to ‘bend the rules’ without these values. We strive to let our employees and clients know what services we can and cannot provide, what actions we are able to take on their behalf, and where our limits might be. - Individual Focus
Human capital is everything. By empowering people, we benefit in numerous ways. We seek to allow our employees freedom to change the way they do things, to continuously improve their systems, and to set lofty goals for themselves and their teams.
This is true not just of our employees, but also of our clients. By providing the client with as much information as possible, less support is required and better decisions are made. - Environment
Profit making isn’t the reason behind environmental awareness, but we owe it to one another to conserve our precious home. In an effort to be conscious of our footprint on the earth, we constantly think about things like:
- What incentives can we give employees to car pool, take public transportation, or walk/run/bike to work?
- What data can we collect to see where we are wasteful?
- In what ways do we create a forum for our employees to connect environmentally conscience actions to improvements in the work-place?
- Question how we use our natural resources. How do we use paper? Water? How do we affect air quality?
- What products do we buy? From whom? Can we shift our buying habits to demonstrate our commitment to the environment, regardless of our bottom line?
